Secret Obsessions for Grocery Bags

Majority of the girls my age will kill for a Gucci Sylvie bag, but I am different.
I collect grocery bags, not just any kind, the cute and sustainable kind.

I obsess over a lot of kitchen gadgets: aprons, dish towels, spatulas, cups, containers...etc

However, it wasn't until college that I actually started to go a lil crazy about grocery bags. Where I live back home (somewhere in Asia) they don't have a lot of "down to earth" or "using reusable bags to reduce plastic/paper bags". Do you know what I mean?
They don't have the message in the design of the grocery bags. They are just logos of the department store or some random ugly patterns.

Here, I found some CUTE ones that I adore them to heart. I never put my grocery bags on the floor even if my arms feel like they are going to rip off and I always fold them in the same way so they don't wrinkle.
I am thankful that cashiers are helping me putting things in my bag, but I HATE it when they just shove things in so it WRINKLES my bag.

I kNOW I'M WEIRD but it's oKAY because it'S MY BAG and it's mY LifE.

Some things that I like to do is bringing the bag with the right size or the material for the shopping spree in Trader Joe's or Nugget Market.

I bring the small Trader Joe's bag with all the colorful produce when I know that I am buying less than 7 items.

The canvas bag with beautiful grapefruit/ orange and turnip/lettuce bag is for when I feel fancy.

The super sturdy, biodegradable, almost plastic-y but not bag is for when I am buying 18 bottles of smart water from a market near my residential area. (This bag is especially good for carrying water or heavy stuff not only because its sturdy, but the moisture from the surface of the water bottles won't ruin the bag!!!)

They all serve different purposes and I love it when they do their job. OMG and when I'm waiting for my uber with my bags in the shopping cart under the sun (they are just so beautiful...especially when you have a baguette sticking out of one of your bags!!!!!).

I recently found out that Trader Joe's do different grocery bags for different areas in the US. I was so intrigued by the idea and starstruck by the designs that I emailed Trader Joe's about it. Did I GET A RESPONSE? NOOOOOOOO. So I am going to email them again :D

I was always into sustainability (although I contradict myself a lot of times...like buying 18 bottles of water instead of using a water bottle), but then I became a Sustainable Agriculture and XXXXXXXX major (not telling you the exact major because I don't want you to find me :D ) at this very sustainable college.
In this area, people always carry around water bottle and grocery bags to avoid creating waste. The students here tho, a lot of them still purchase disposable bags at the counter.

I feel like I could do something about this...

I will attach some pictures of my grocery bags and other kitchen gadgets when I feel like it :D

Let me know if any one of you is as sensitive about grocery bags as I am :D
